It Happened One Weekend: Rag-a-Muffins on the Street, More!

1) Halloween parties and celebrations took over the East End this weekend, with the annual Rag-a-Muffin Parades marching through Sag Harbor and Southampton. Adults, kids and pets in costume went trick-or-treating at local businesses while Pumpkintown 'props' guided the way. [Hamptons Online]

2) Taking a cue from August, a mini-blackout was reported by LIPA yesterday afternoon. 3,800 East Hampton residents lost power for half an hour, thankfully well ahead of the World Series game. A fallen tree was blamed for the problem. [EH Press]
