EaterWrap: Nick & Toni's Slow Food, Annona Reopens, More!

1) Nick & Toni's hosts a dinner next week for new book Slow: Life in a Tuscan Town. The slow food celebration scheduled for Wednesday, November 18th, is presented in conjunction with Welcome Books and Zagat, and features a local meal (and the book) for $95. 2) After unexpectedly closing two weeks ago, management of Annona in Westhampton Beach have promised to reopen the italian restaurant in early December. A lease dispute in the building, which also houses Manhattan Motorcars, caused the initial closure. [SH Press]
3) Local favorite Fat Ass Fudge is expanding. Founder/baker Donna McCue will now make truffles to accompany her chocolate treats, in Grand Marnier, champagne liqueur, and lavender vanilla ganache flavors. A box of eight sells for $24 on the company's website. [EH Star]
