Apparently, East Hampton's Home Sweet Home museum is an international delight. Japan's biggest newspaper Asahi Shimbun recently ran a long article about the James Lane house which was once home to "Home Sweet Home" songwriter J.H. Payne. This is the second time in five years that the Japanese media have covered the museum, owing to the fact that the song is immensely popular in Japan. Cross-culturalism at its finest. [EH Press]
