New York decorator Meg Braff talks to House Beautiful this month about a blue and white number she designed in East Hampton. The casual cool living areas are inspired by the nearby ocean and the 'feeling of summer', while the master takes its cue from handbag designer Kate Spade's signature kelly green. Tying it all together is a 1960s painting by Gustav Bolin in the living room. The Swede's art is a constant presence in Braff's work, as she often introduces his nontraditional paintings as something her clients can 'try and live with' first. They usually cohabitate quite nicely.
