From our friends at Property Shark: The Q3 Hamptons foreclosure map drops today, revealing a steady pace with last quarter's numbers. Suffolk County saw a total of 454, but the East End's count is once again around 20, depending on villages included. Notably, that number represents less than 5% of the county as a whole. The map shows foreclosures as far east as Amagansett, while Westhampton's properties near the water seem to have taken a surprisingly hard hit.
As for Hamptons foreclosures over the last few years, this graph shows a steady climb since a dive in Q3 2008. Worth noting: the chart maxes out at a whopping 25, virtually nothing compared to the rest of the county and the country.
