More on Burch House II

The Post adds more 'details' to the rumor that designer Tory Burch was involved in this week's $45 million sale of the Westerly estate in Southampton. Word is that Burch may have bought the actual home, while a neighbor bought the adjacent parcel of land, not wanting to see it developed. The combined offers made up the multi-million dollar sale, though it is unclear how much each was worth. Burch has already made a name for herself in Southampton real estate, winning the right to tear-down and rebuild her current Meadow Lane home over the summer. This story seems far from complete, so stay tuned. [NYP; previously]
