Much like when Rugosa closed its doors, Turtle Crossing's announcement that they wouldn't be returning next season was just as unexpected. While we've yet to hear a definitive reason for the decision, this listing goes to show that it's final.
Located on Pantigo Road between East Hampton and Amagansett, the 2,500 sq. ft. restaurant is set on a quarter of an acre, provides seating for 110 (84 inside and 16 outside), features two kitchen areas and is newly renovated. And, if the restaurateur-to-be wants to keep the BBQ flowing, a "Southern Pride" smoker is included in the $2M sale price.
Restaurants on this particular stretch of 27 seem to struggle keeping their doors open, but this price might entice someone to give it a go. At the very least, it's a better deal than another eatery located just down the street.
