There was quite a bit of buzz last week when news broke that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was finally buying a place in the Hamptons. His new home, the historic Ballyshear Estate, cost him a rumored $20M and is a 22,000-square-foot Georgian mansion built in 1910 with 11 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and lots of marble. But what does it look like from above? Cully, our favorite aerial photographer, went for a spin last weekend and brought back a few great shots of the house and gardens (which were designed by the Olmsted Brothers, a firm run by the son and step-son of Frederick Law Olmsted of Central Park fame).
